This is a slow hike with stops to learn about birds, share birding experiences, and to scan the surroundings for resident and migrating birds. Trails vary from hard-packed gravel to dirt trails with some steep places, several steps, and may be muddy in places if it has rained recently. Participants should wear sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather.
A limited number of binoculars will be available for those that don't have their own.
